1. Definitions
“DeepDive” and “we” and “our” means Deep Dive Data Services Limited of Trinity House, School Hill, Lewes, East Sussex, BN7 2NN (company number: 16513102);
“GDPR” means the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR);
“personal data” means information that can be used to uniquely identify a single person, as defined under GDPR;
“website” means the website at www.deep-dive.com;
“you” means you as an individual and “your” and “yours” shall be interpreted accordingly.

2. About this document 
This Website Privacy Policy relates to personal data that you provide during your use of the website. DeepDive is located in Europe and is bound to conform to its obligations under the GDPR. The GDPR sets a high bar in terms of consumer protection. However, we recognise that there are other data protection regulations in other territories, and we will review any request brought to our attention in respect of such territories.

4.How do we collect personal data and what data do we collect
If you request product information, a product demo, sign-up to a webinar, or subscribe to receive marketing messages, we will ask you to provide some, or all, of the following personal data:

•    Name
•    Job title 
•    Email
•    Phone number
•    The organisation you represent

We will use this information solely to communicate with you about our products and services. We will not disclose your personal data to any other person or organisation except DeepDive employees, companies acting as data processors on Deep Dive’s behalf, and as required by law. Data processors acting on DeepDive’s behalf may only use the information in accordance with DeepDive’s instructions.

5. Legal basis for processing 
Under GDPR we must have a legal basis upon which to process your personal data. The legal basis upon which we rely is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR). This is subject to a balancing test to ensure our interests are not overridden by your fundamental rights.

6. Your rights 
All marketing emails that you receive from us will include an “unsubscribe” link which, if clicked, instructs us not to send any further emails.

You also have the following legal rights under GDPR:
•    The right to withdraw consent (though please note that we do not rely upon consent to process your personal data).
•    The right to erasure – you can request that we remove your personal data from our systems.
•    The right to restrict processing – you can request that we only process your personal data for the purposes you specify.
•    The right to data portability – you can request that the personal data you have provided to us be ported to another organisation.
•    The right to access your personal data – You have a right to know what personal data DeepDive holds on you and for what purpose we are processing your personal data. This is known as a Subject Access Request (SAR).
•    The right to rectification – you have the right to ask us to rectify any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
•    The right to object to processing – you have the right to object to us processing your personal data.
•    The right to obtain information upon request on the balancing test we have carried out when determining we are able to rely on legitimate interest as our lawful basis for processing your personal data.
•    Please note that some of these rights are subject to our assessment as to whether we have a continuing legal basis upon which to process your data.

7. Use of cookies 
The DeepDive website use cookies. A cookie is a text file containing small amounts of information that will be downloaded to your computer when you use the website. Cookies do not contain personal data though some of them can only be useful if associated with your personal details. Cookies do lots of jobs and are a commonplace tool used by almost all websites. They enable things such as navigating between pages efficiently, remembering user preferences, and generally improving the user experience.

•    hubspotutk: Tracks visitor identity, expires in 6 months.
•    __hssc: Tracks sessions, expires in 30 minutes.
•    __hssrc: Used to detect session restarts, expires at session end.

Marketing Cookies

•    __hssrc: Helps track session restarts, sometimes used in marketing analytics.
•    __hstc: Main tracking cookie that stores visitor data used for marketing analytics.
•    hubspotutk: Tracks visitor identity and is used to associate form submissions and other interactions with the visitor.

8. Transfers outside the UK and the European Economic Area
We will transfer some or all of your personal data to processors acting on our behalf who are based outside the UK and the European Economic Area. Rest assured that we will only do so after having put in place appropriate safeguards for the protection of your personal data as prescribed in GDPR.

9. Data retention
We will retain your personal data for so long as we have a legal basis for doing so. We will cease marketing to you should we receive an unsubscribe request or should you otherwise request us to do so. When we no longer have a legal basis for retaining your personal data, we will permanently erase it.

10. Right to complain to a regulator

While we are a UK-based company primarily operating under the GDPR, we recognise that visitors to our website may include individuals located in the United States.
